Wi-Fi (Android Enterprise)
Configure Wi-Fi settings on your devices when:
General: Network
Network Name | Define the network name to which the device should connect. This name also serves as the identifier for the wireless policy. |
Set as Active Network | Enable this option so the device automatically connects to the specified Wi-Fi
network. Note: Assigning a new Wi-Fi
profile with this option enabled only replaces any existing
Wi-Fi profile if the Wi-Fi signal strength is Good or higher.

Disable MAC Randomization | Enable this option to turn off the Wi-Fi network's random Media Access Control (MAC)
address when deploying the profile. Note:
Assigning a new Wi-Fi profile with this option enabled replaces
the existing Wi-Fi configuration. This feature requires Android
OS 13 or later. |
General: Security
Security Type | Select the protocol you wish to use on the network. Choose from:

Password | Enter a password to connect to the network. |
Proxy
Proxy | Choose from the following:

URL | Enter the Proxy Auto-Configuration (PAC) file URL containing
proxy settings. Note: This option is only
available when opting for Automatic proxy. |
Proxy Server |
Specify the proxy server address and (optionally) the port number. Note: This option is only available when
opting for Manual proxy.

Exceptions | List any host exceptions that should connect directly without using the proxy.
Separate entries with commas. Note: This option
is only available when opting for Manual proxy. |
