Truncating SOTI Hub Device Usage Data

About this task

Retaining excessive data in the SOTI MobiControl database can consume significant storage space. It is good practice to truncate ageing SOTI Hub device usage data.

Tip: To further reduce the database's size and optimize server performance:

Delete unused packages. See Deleting Packages from SOTI MobiControl.
Truncate and archive system logs. See Truncating and Archiving System Logs.

Procedure

From the main menu, navigate to Global Settings > Logs and Alerts > Log Maintenance. The Log Maintenance page appears.
In the Truncate Hub Device Data After field, enter the period after which data from the SOTI MobiControl database truncates. Select a time unit and specify its quantity.
Select Save.

Results

The SOTI Hub device usage data deletes from the SOTI MobiControl database after the specified time.
