Uninstalling the Device Agent From an iOS Device

About this task

To remove the SOTI MobiControl device agent from your iOS device:

Procedure

  1. On your iOS device, tap and hold the SOTI MobiControl app icon until it shakes.
  2. Tap the x that appears at the top of the app icon.
    Note: For newer iOS devices select Remove App to remove the device agent.
  3. Open the Settings app and select the General tab.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the General section and select Profiles.
  5. Remove all profiles associated with SOTI MobiControl.
    Restriction: Removing the device agent will affect the device's remote view functionality.
    Note: If the device is unenrolled from SOTI MobiControl, the agent will show app not configured screen and it will be removed from device.
