Zebra LifeGuard OTA
Use this page to initiate registration of your Zebra LifeGuard account, as well as to view the device enrollment and status information. For details, see Register Zebra LifeGuard OTA Account.
The account registration is necessary to support over-the-air (OTA) firmware upgrades for Zebra devices. For details, see Upgrade Firmware on Zebra Devices with LifeGuard OTA.
Minimum requirements for a device to use Zebra LifeGuard OTA are as follows:
- The device is a Zebra device
- The device is enrolled as AE
- The device meets the minimum OS requirements
- Zebra Data Services (ZDS) are enabled on device (ZDS are enabled by default)
- The device meets the minimum requirements for FOTA
Register | Click to open the Zebra LifeGuard OTA portal (in a separate web page), where you can complete the account registration. This button appears only if the Zebra LifeGuard account has not been registered yet for your SOTI MobiControl instance. |
Sync |
Click to synchronize the device enrollment information displayed on the page with the actual enrollment status (via the Zebra APIs). This icon appears only if the Zebra LifeGuard account has been configured for your SOTI MobiControl instance. Note: The information on the page updates automatically with a predefined frequency. Use the manual synchronization only if you need an immediate update.
