Remote Control Settings (Linux)
Use the Remote Control Settings dialog box to select a connection profile for plugin-based remote control sessions.
Override Settings Inherited from Parent Group 'device group name' | Turn on this toggle to ignore settings inherited from parent device groups.
This option only appears on nested device groups. |
Apply changes to all child groups and devices | Turn on this toggle to cascade settings specified here to all nested devices and device groups. |
Connection Profile | Select the type of connection to be used for plugin-based remote control sessions. |
Disable User Interaction | When enabled, the device user cannot interact with the device during remote control sessions. For example, they will be unable to operate keypads, mouses, or touchpads. |
Disable User Display | When enabled, the display (and the actions taken by the administrator) will be hidden from the device user during remote control sessions.
This option is only available when Disable User Interaction is enabled. |
