Adding an App Store License Account to SOTI MobiControl

Before you begin

Download the "Apps and Books" content/server token from Apple Business Manager that has the app licenses you wish to manage with this App Store License account.

To link an App Store License account to SOTI MobiControl:

Procedure

  1. Select Global Settings from the main menu.
  2. From the Settings tree on the left, select Apple > App Store License Management to display the App Store License Management page (see App Store License Management).
  3. Select Add to open the Accounts dialog box (see Accounts (App Store License)).
  4. Fill out the dialog box fields as required:
    Account Enter a descriptive name for the App Store License account. The name identifies the account on the App Store License Management page (see App Store License Management).
    Content/Server Token

    Enter the "Apps and Books" content/server token you downloaded from Apple Business Manager. You can browse for the token file or drag it into the field.

    Note: A token is valid for one year from the date of issue.
    Content/Server Token Expiry Appears on token upload. The token expiry date (read-only).
    Organization Appears on token upload. The organization that owns the account (read-only).
    Country Appears on token upload. The country of account registration (read-only).
    Location Appears on token upload. The organization's location that manages the licenses in the "Apps and Books" content/server token (read-only). This is also the name of the "Apps and Books" server token in Apple Business Manager.
    iOS App Store Applications Appears on token upload. This section lists the App Store and Custom applications managed using the selected App Store License account.
  5. Select Save.

Results

The content/server token is valid for one year. Install a new token every year to use the App Store License accounts without interruption.
