Creating an Incident In SOTI MobiControl

About this task

In SOTI MobiControl, you can create an incident either from a device or during a web-based remote control session.

Procedure

  • To create an incident from a device:
    • Select the device in the devices list and click the Report Incident action button.
    • Open the Device Information panel for the device and click the Report Incident action button.
  • To create an incident during a web-based remote control session:
    1. Click the Add to Incident button.
    2. In the Add Device to Incident dialog box that opens, select Create New or Add to Existing Ticket.
    3. If you selected the Create New option, select a group for the new incident from the Select Group drop-down list.
    4. If you selected the Add to Existing Ticket option, search for the required ticket in the Search Incident field.
    5. Once the group for a new incident, or the ID of an existing incident, has been selected, click Add.
