Deploying the SOTI XSight Agent In SOTI MobiControl

Before you begin

You must have a pre-made SOTI XSight Agent package and a SOTI MobiControl profile on a SOTI MobiControl instance associated with SOTI XSight.

About this task

Add a SOTI XSight Agent package to a profile that you can send to your devices.

Procedure

  1. Login to the SOTI MobiControl web console.
  2. From the main menu, select Profiles.

    Go to packages tab in SOTI MobiControl

  3. Right-click on the profile you want to add the SOTI XSight Agent package to and select Edit.

  4. In the Packages tab of the Edit Profile panel, select the Add Package icon.

  5. In the Select Packages window, select the package to add to the profile and then select Add to Profile.

  6. In the Edit Profile panel, select Save, or Save and Assign to save and assign the profile to devices, device groups, or user groups.

Results

You have added the SOTI XSight Agent package to a profile.
