Upgrading Firmware for Zebra Devices

About this task

This task outlines the steps to upgrade firmware on Zebra devices using SOTI Connect.

Procedure

  1. Download the appropriate firmware file for your printer model from Zebra's support site.
    Note: Refer to the Certified Device List to ensure the firmware version is compatible with your SOTI Connect version.
  2. Upload the firmware file to SOTI Connect File Store. See Adding a Firmware File to the File Store for detailed instructions.
  3. Deploy the firmware to devices. From the device actions menu, select Download Firmware From File Store.

  4. Choose the relevant firmware file, then select Save.

  5. Confirm that the firmware version matches the intended update.

Results

The Zebra device firmware is successfully upgraded and visible in the device information panel.
