Creating a Device Group

About this task

To create a new device group:

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, click the main menu button and select Devices.
    The Devices view opens.
  2. In the left pane, hover over the device group under which you want to create a new subgroup. To create a device group at the top level, hover over View All Devices.
  3. Click the menu button that appears next to the group name and select Add Group.
    The Add Group dialog box opens.
  4. In the Add Group dialog box, enter a name, and (optionally) a description, for the new device group, then click OK.

Results

The new device group appears in the left pane of the Devices view.
