System Health

The System Health pane enables you to view all system components, their connection status, and their certificate information.

The system components include the following:
  • File Store
  • Logging Service
  • Management Server
  • MQTT Server Instance
  • Protocol Adapters
  • Proxy Service
  • SOTI XSight
  • SOTI Identity
  • SQL Databases (for Management Server, Logging Service, Device History)
  • Webhook Receiver

System Health Notifications

When a system component is function normally, it will report its status as OK. When SOTI Connect detects a potential issue with a component, it will report that in the status. Below are the statuses that may be displayed and suggested actions to resolve.

Not available – This is set by default if the health check fails in Rest PA for WHR Restart protocol adapter, then restart management server
Failed to access http cert [Exception details] – This happens if Rest PA is unable to fetch the list of certificates associated with it
No definitions found – This is set by default if health check fails in Rest PA
No definitions found – This is set by default if health check fails in MQTT PA
Disabled configuration - This is set by default if health check fails in MQTT Server Instance
Can't be reached – This is set if MQTT server instance cannot be reached during health check
Failed to connect to Database at [LS DB url] : [ Error message for not connecting in case of an exception ] Restart logging service, then verify or change database configuration
