    The Health Attestation feature provides administrators with the security health overview of their Windows Modern devices. This involves capturing several security measurements during boot time and protecting the reported data in the device's Trusted Platform Module (TPM). The boot measurements are then forwarded to the Health Attestation Service (HAS) to confirm the reported measurement’s authenticity and integrity. If a device report fails to meet the enterprise security compliance criteria, administrators can take preventative actions. They can perform actions such as unenrolling the device or removing its Virtual Private Network (VPN) configurations.

Locating All Devices in a Group

About this task

Locate all devices in a device group

Important: Starting with SOTI MobiControl 2026.0.0 (October 2025), we are migrationg outdoor location features from SOTI MobiControl to SOTI XSight, consolidating all GPS-based capabilities into SOTI XSight to deliver a powerful and unified location tracking experience.

Important: Without a valid SOTI XSight license, Live View functionality is limited, including showing live device positions.

Procedure

Log into the SOTI MobiControl web console as administrator.
From the main menu, select Devices.
Right-click on the device group whose device locations you want to see and select Group Details.
On the right side of the Group Details view, select the More icon and then select Live View from the dropdown list.

This opens SOTI XSight where the most recent locations of the devices in the group display on the map (see SOTI MobiControl Live View Device Action).

Note: Only devices directly within the device group appear. Devices in nested groups are not included.

Results

A colored dot appears on the map for each device. Online devices are green dots. The color of offline devices varies depending on the last time SOTI MobiControl was able to gather location information for the device.

Note: Devices in close proximity appear as a cluster. Zoom in to see individual devices.
