Android Enterprise Work Managed

Devices running Android 5.0 or later support Android Enterprise Work Managed device management. This enables organizations to fully manage the device, including the monitoring of apps, data, and device settings through the SOTI MobiControl console.

To enroll your device as Work Managed:

Note: To use apps in the managed Google Play Store, you must set up an Enterprise Binding. See Android Enterprise Bindings.

The managed Google Play Store offers MDM administrators the ability to:

Distribute work-specific versions of apps.
Control which apps users can download from Google Play onto their Android Enterprise devices.

If you do not plan to use the managed Google Play Store, select Skip Google Account Addition During Enrollment on Managed Android Devices when creating your enrollment policy. You can still install applications using packages. See Using Packages.
