Using Geofences

Geofences are virtual boundaries that you can apply to your devices to track and regulate their movement. SOTI MobiControl can perform actions when a device enters or exits an area covered by a Geofence. Actions include sending notifications to the web console and to devices, relocating the device to another device group, and blocking access to certain services. Android OEM specific agents, Samsung ELM, and Android Enterprise agents all support the Geofence feature.

To set up notifications and actions for devices entering and exiting a Geofence, create a Geofence Alert rule.
