Using App Policies
App policies offer a simple method for the controlled distribution of applications to your devices. You choose applications for your device users and push them to a single location on the device. Once enabled, the app policy helps device user to install the applications determined by the policy without worrying about retrieving the correct application or version.
App policies are available on the Android Plus, Apple, and Windows Modern platforms. Each platform can incorporate many types of applications. Make sure you choose the option best suited to your needs.
App policies define the included applications, the targeted devices, and other settings.
Restriction: App policies are platform-specific. This
means you can not create a single policy that caters to more than one
platform.
