Set Alerts

Before you begin

Complete the required information in the Create/Choose Plans tab.

About this task

Alerts are automated notifications triggered by a specific criteria. You can set either a soft or hard threshold. A soft threshold marks a lower 'early warning' level, while a hard threshold marks a higher critical level. Select a threshold and specify the messaging and timing for your alerts.

Procedure

  1. Select a threshold.
    • Soft Threshold
    • Hard Threshold
    The selected threshold opens.
    Set Alerts tab
  2. Complete the following information:
    Mobile Data Toggle this criteria to specify the usage threshold amount for mobile data. The amount is only recorded in gigabytes (GB).
    Voice Calls Toggle this criteria to specify the usage threshold amount for voice calls. The amount is only recorded in minitues.
    Relocate Device(s) to Select a device group for relocation.
    Send Message Write a message for the alert.
    Send Email Notification Toggle to identify the email set for the alert.
  3. Select Next.

Results

You have configured an alert for the telecom expense management policy.
