Adding SOTI MobiControl Enrollment Settings to Zero-Touch Enrollment

Important: Zero-touch enrollment is a process external to SOTI MobiControl and subject to change without notice.

To add SOTI MobiControl enrollment settings defined by an add devices rule to a zero-touch enrollment configuration:

Procedure

  1. Make a note of the enrollment ID of the add devices policy you want to use for these devices.
    If you haven't created an add devices policy yet, follow the steps in Creating an Android Enterprise Device Policy.
  2. Sign into the Google zero-touch portal and go to the Configurations tab. Click the plus sign button to create a new configuration.
  3. Fill in the fields in the new configuration dialog box.
    Configuration name Enter a name for this configuration.
    EMM DPC Choose SOTI MobiControl | Android Enterprise from the dropdown list.
    Note: EMM DPC = enterprise mobility management device policy controller
    DPC Extras Copy the code block below in the DPC Extras field, replacing ABCD1234 with your actual enrollment id from step 1.

    Company Name Enter the name of your organization.
    Support email address Enter an email address that device users can use to contact for help.
    Support phone number Enter a phone number that device users can call to get help.
    Tip: Use +, -, and () to format the phone number.
    Custom message Enter a 1-2 sentence greeting or explanation for device users.
  4. Click Apply to save the configuration.

Results

You're now ready to assign the zero-touch configuration to devices.
