Available Device Actions
Device actions are quick and simple operations such as locking a device remotely or sending a
message to a device. You can execute device actions on:
- a single device
- many devices
- a device group
Important: In July
2022, Samsung deprecated Samsung E-FOTA and replaced it with Samsung Knox
E-FOTA. As a result, SOTI MobiControl 2024.0 no longer supports
Samsung E-FOTA. SOTI MobiControl will integrate Samsung Knox E-FOTA
in future updates.
Until then, you may continue using Samsung Knox E-FOTA to manage firmware on SOTI MobiControl enrolled devices via the Samsung Knox Admin Portal.
You must have suitable permissions to send a device action. See the table below for details.
