Remotely Turning off Your Device
About this task
To remotely shut off your devices:
Procedure
- Select the devices that you want to turn off and, in the Device Actions menu bar, select More > Turn Off / Suspend.
- If applicable, click the warning message at the bottom of the dialog box to see why SOTI MobiControl cannot remotely turn off some of the selected devices.
- Click Turn Off / Suspend.
Results
The device is disconnected from SOTI MobiControl while it is off and relies on the device user to turn it back on.
