Saving Device Information Snapshots

About this task

You can save a device’s information snapshot for future use (for example, to compare with a more recent snapshot).

Procedure

To save a device snapshot:
  1. Display a device’s information in the device snapshot page.
  2. On the snapshot toolbar, click the Save icon.
    The saved snapshot appears in a new card appended to the bottom of the incident pane (on the left of the screen). The snapshot is titled "Saved by user name | time counter ago".
  3. Optional: In the field across the bottom of the saved snapshot card, enter a brief description of the saved snapshot instance.
  4. Click the Update button at the bottom of the saved snapshot card.
