Disabling Groups

About this task

You can disable an existing group. For information about groups, see Managing Groups. A disabled group cannot be used for creating new incidents. Incidents already assigned to the disabled group will remain associated with that group. You can perform the following actions on a disabled group:

Rename - see Renaming Groups
Enable - see Enabling Groups
Delete - see Deleting Groups

To disable a group:

Procedure

Select Settings from the main menu.
From the context menu of the group you need to disable, select Disable.
Note: You cannot disable the Default group.
In the Disable Group message box that opens, select the check box and click Disable.
