Deployment Server Settings

When you have multiple SOTI MobiControl Deployment Servers, you can customize how SOTI MobiControl handle device load(incoming/outgoing device interactions) between each of the Deployment Servers.

Table 1. Device Load Settings
Setting Description
Balancing interval The interval at which SOTI MobiControl's Management Server redistribute and attempt to balance device load across all Deployment Servers. You can specify between 600—9999 seconds.
Wait for data timeout The minimum duration required before a Management Server considers a Deployment Server as unavailable. Once a Deployment Server cannot be reached, all devices connecting to that unavailable Deployment Server are sent to You can specify between 200—9999 seconds.
Maximum disconnect The maximum number of inactive devices that SOTI MobiControl disconnect with during a device load rebalancing. The disconnect operations happens only if SOTI MobiControl detects an imbalance.
Restriction: You cannot change this value.
Device inactivity The minimum duration required since a device last communicated with a Deployment Server before SOTI MobiControl considers the device as inactive. Once inactive, SOTI MobiControl disconnects with it during device load rebalancing. You can specify between 300—9999 seconds.
Tolerable imbalance percentage TBH.
Note: You cannot change this value.
Table 2. Deployment Servers
Setting Description
Host Name The name of all each of the SOTI MobiControl Deployment Servers.
Device Load Percentage The recipient device load for this SOTI MobiControl Deployment Servers.
Important: The sum of all Deployment Server's device load percentage must be equal to 100.
