Signal Servers

The Signal Servers panel displays Node, Uptime, and Memory Usage information for all Signal servers in a SOTI MobiControl environment. If there are multiple Signal servers, they are all displayed in the Signal Servers panel.

Viewing the Signal Servers Panel

To view the Signal Servers panel from within the SOTI MobiControl web console, select System Health > System Overview and scroll down to the Signal Servers panel.

Note: The primary Signal Servers panel displays a Primary icon (blue box). In an environment with multiple Signal servers, only one is the primary Signal server.

Signal Server Status

The status icon (red box) indicates the Signal server status. Hover over the icon to view the status.

Started SOTI MobiControl has established a connection and the primary Signal server is running.
Started - Idle Secondary servers display as Started - Idle.
Stopped SOTI MobiControl has lost contact with the primary Signal server.
Unreachable
  • When the primary Signal server is down, all secondary servers are unreachable.
  • Secondary Signal servers that have not checked-in for a while are unreachable.
    Note: Unreachable Signal servers display n/a for Uptime and Memory Usage.
