Using Advanced Configurations
Advanced configurations are a set of device configurations that can perform a variety of actions at the device and device group level. The capabilities of each advanced configuration are wide ranging and cover scheduling check-ins to setting deployment server connections to restricting network access while roaming and much more.
You can access the list of advanced configurations from a device's Device Information panel or from a device group's Group Information panel.
Not all advanced configurations are available for every device type. In the Group Information panel, you must select the device family from the dropdown list to see the advanced configurations available to that device family.

| Bluetooth Settings | Disables Bluetooth connectivity on devices. |
|
| Bootstrap Token | Enables the use of bootstrap token on applicable macOS devices for automatic allocation of secure tokens. |

| Connection Settings | Determines how and when devices connect to the SOTI MobiControl deployment server. |
|
| Custom Data | Manages custom data items. |
|
| Deployment Server Priority | Sets priority levels for SOTI MobiControl instances with many deployment servers. |

| Regenerate Personal Recovery Key | Device users can schedule a periodic regeneration of the personal recovery key. See Personal Recovery Key (PRK) Regeneration for more information. |

| Health Attestation Policy | Manages health attestation policies. |
|
| Personal Hotspot | Enables or disables use of device as a personal hotspot. |

| Remote Control Settings | Configures settings for remote control. |

| Remove View Settings | Configures settings for remote view. |
|
| Roaming Restrictions | Sets restrictions for phone data and voice use while roaming. |
|
| Sharing Devices | Many users can share a single device, even if they each receive personalized settings when logging into the device. |
|
| Support Contact Info | Adds your organization's IT contact information to the device agent. |
|
| Time Synchronization | Synchronizes your devices' time with either the deployment server or an SNTP/NTP server. |

| Update Schedule | Configure the check-in schedule for devices. |
