Deleting Users, Groups, and Roles

About this task

You can delete a user management entity (user, group, or role) from your SOTI MobiControl instance.

To delete a user management entity:

Procedure

  1. Select Users and Permissions from the main menu.
  2. In the left pane, select the required tab (Roles, Users, or Groups).
  3. Right-click the required entity to open the context menu.
  4. Select Delete.
  5. In the confirmation box that opens, click Delete.
    For roles, the confirmation box shows the number of users who will be affected by the role deletion. This information is shown to help you decide whether you want to proceed with the role deletion or consider an alternative strategy.
