Renewing an App Store License Account

Before you begin

You must have an App Store License account bound to an "Apps and Books" server token in Apple Business Manager.

About this task

To ensure continuity in the deployment of licensed App Store applications to your Apple devices, an App Store License account must be renewed before its server token expires.

To renew an App Store License account to SOTI MobiControl:

Procedure

  1. Select Global Settings from the main menu.
  2. From the Settings tree on the left, select Apple > App Store License Management to display the App Store License Management page (see App Store License Management).
  3. Find the App Store License account whose server token is about to expire (see Server Token Expiry) and click the account name to open that account in the Accounts dialog box (see Accounts (App Store License)).
  4. In the Server Token field, upload the new token you have downloaded from the "Apps and Books" section in Apple Business Manager. You can browse for the token file or drag and drop it into the field.
    Note: The correct "Apps and Books" server token in Apple Business Manager is the one whose name equals the value of the account's Location field.
    Once a new server token is uploaded, the Server Token Expiry field automatically updates with the new expiry date.
  5. Click Save to save changes and renew your App Store License account.
