WiFi: Fusion
Use this dialog box to configure Fusion WiFi account settings.
General
Settings
| Allow All Other Existing Profiles | Select this option to enable all other existing WiFi profiles on the device. |
| Name | This is the name of the profile that will appear in SOTI MobiControl. |
| Profile Name | This is the name that will appear on the mobile device. |
| ESSID | The SSID where the device should connect to. |
| Performance Settings | Select whether you want to optimize for data or voice. |
| Connection Type | You can choose either to connect to the Internet or work. |
| Turn On Radio After Configuration | Select this option to enable the WiFi radio on the device after deploying the configuration. |
Advanced Options
| Enable Advanced Options | When this option is selected, three new options will appear: Set Device IP Address Manually, Set Device DNS Address Manually, and Set Device WINS Address Manually.
By default none of the options are selected. Once you select an option, its corresponding configurations can be made. |
Security
Security Settings
| Operating Mode | With Operating Mode you can choose between Infrastructure and Ad-hoc. |
| Channel | If Ad-hoc is selected as the operating mode, specify the WiFi channel. |
| Security Mode | With Security mode you can select between Legacy (Pre-WPA, usually WEP), WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal, WPA-Enterprise, or WPA2-Enterprise. |
| Authentication Type | When an Enterprise mode is selected, you are able to choose between EAP-TLS, EAP-Fast, PEAP, LEAP or TTLS.
Using EAP-TLS, EAP-Fast, PEAP, or TTLS requires that a certificate be used. |
| Encryption Type | Select the encryption type. |
| Key Type | Select the encryption key type. |
