Application Run Control

The Application Run Control configuration enables you to control which applications are allowed to run on devices and which are blocked.

• Use Blacklists to block an application from running.

• Use Whitelists to allow an application to run.

Whitelists are more restrictive than blacklists.

Restrictions

Select either a blacklist or whitelist and then click Add to create a list where you can specify the applications that you are blacklisting or whitelisting. You can create multiple lists and send them to devices.

All blacklists and whitelists in the SOTI MobiControl instance are available to use in each application run control profile configuration. After creating a list, you send it to a device by enabling it using its toggle. You can also edit, delete, or export lists to a .csv file. Exported files can be imported into other SOTI MobiControl instances.
