Wireless ZeroConfig
This configuration setting adds a wireless profile for Microsoft Wireless ZeroConfig.
Action | Select one of the following actions:

Name | Enter a name for your Wireless ZeroConfig settings. |
Network Name (SSID) | Enter your Network name/Service Set Identifier (SSID). Select the User Defined option to allow the user to enter or change this information. |
This is a device-to-device (ad-hoc) connection | Select this option if you are configuring an ad-hoc connection. |
Data Encryption | Select the data encryption method for your network. |
Authentication | Select the authentication method for your network. |
The key is automatically provided | Select this option if the network key for clients is automatically provided.(This option is available only for WEP encryption.) |
Network Key | Enter the network Key for your network. Select the User Defined option to allow the user to enter or change this information. |
Show Network Key | Select this option to display the network key in plaintext. |
Key Index | Select the key index from the list, if applicable.(This list is available only for WEP encryption.) |
Use IEEE 802.1x network access control | Select this option to use IEEE 802.1x for port-based network access control. You must select this option before you can select an EAP type.(This option is available only for WEP encryption.) |
EAP Type | Select your Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) method. |
Turn on radio after configuration | Select this option to turn on the device's WiFi radio after configuration. |
