Adding an Azure Directory Service Connection

Before you begin

You must have a Microsoft Azure account set up prior to configuring connection settings in SOTI MobiControl. You must also have authenticated SOTI MobiControl with that account. See Microsoft Azure documentation for more information.

The following information is required during the SOTI MobiControl Azure directory service connection setup:

  • Federation Metadata Document URL
  • Azure AD Graph API endpoint (domain name only) Default is set to graph.windows.net by SOTI MobiControl.
  • Client ID of the application
  • Client Key of the application

About this task

To add an Azure directory service connection to SOTI MobiControl:

Procedure

  1. On the All Platforms tab, select the Servers tab.
  2. Under Global Settings, click the wrench icon beside Directory Service Connections to open the Directory Service Manager dialog box.
  3. Click the New button and select Azure from the drop-down list.
  4. Fill the fields with the appropriate values.
  5. Click the Manage button to configure your Azure Tenant ID and Azure Application.
  6. Click OK to save the new LDAP connection.

Results

You can now enroll your Windows Modern devices using LDAP.
