About SOTI Hub Content Repositories
A SOTI Hub content repository is the hosting location for the enterprise content that you want to share with device users through the SOTI Hub app. SOTI Hub supports several content repository options, both cloud and on-premises. You can configure multiple content repositories of the same or different type to a single SOTI Hub profile configuration, providing device users with access to several repositories at once. Or assign multiple profiles with separate SOTI Hub profile configurations but that target the same devices.
Link your content repository to the SOTI Hub app using a SOTI Hub profile configuration which also allows you to configure additional settings regarding authentication and app behavior.
SOTI MobiControl supports using the following servers as content repositories:
WebDAV
Choose WebDAV to add a Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) WebDAV server that can access files residing on an NTFS server. The server must be running on Microsoft Server 2008 or later. Refer to Microsoft's documentation on Installing and Configuring WebDAV on IIS 7 or Later for reference.
Once you have installed and configured WebDAV on IIS, you can proceed to Setting Up Your WebDAV Server for specific instructions on configuring your WebDAV server for use with SOTI Hub.
SOTI apps Server Extension
You can install an extension for SOTI Hub on WebDAV servers that increases functionality by adding features such as resuming downloads after a connection interruption and search results that populate while the query is still running.
