Configuring Global Settings

About this task

Note: You must be logged into SOTI XSight as an administrator to change settings.

To change SOTI XSight global settings:

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, click the menu button main menu button and select Settings. The SOTI XSight Settings view opens.

  2. Click the Global button at the top of the page. The available global settings are displayed.
  3. On the left side of the Settings view, click on the settings type you want to change. The current settings are displayed on the right side of the Settings view.
  4. Make the required settings changes on the right side of the Settings view. As soon as you change a setting, SAVE and CANCEL buttons appear at the bottom of the view.
  5. Click the SAVE button to save the settings changes.
  6. When you have finished making the required changes to the settings, you can return to the incident dashboard by clicking on the SOTI XSight title on the menu bar.
    Note: You may need to log out of SOTI XSight and log back in for the settings changes to take effect.
