Integrating SOTI XSight and SOTI MobiControl

This page describes the settings used to integrate SOTI XSight with SOTI MobiControl and creating API clients as a parent of the children related to it.


Setting	Description
Username	Enter a valid SOTI MobiControl username.
Password	Enter the password for the above SOTI MobiControl username.
Default Instance	The name of the default SOTI MobiControl instance that SOTI XSight is integrated with.
Access URL	The URL of the default SOTI MobiControl instance.
Client ID	The client ID of the default SOTI MobiControl instance.
Use SOTI Identity for User Authentication	If this toggle is switched on, the option for selecting SOTI MobiControl Login becomes available as an option under login mode.
Enable to support additional SOTI MobiControl Instances	If this toggle is switched on the section for adding Other Instances and SOTI XSight Management Server Login Configuration becomes available.
Other Instances	Lists other SOTI MobiControl instances that have been added to SOTI XSight. To add a new SOTI MobiControl instance, select to open the Add SOTI MobiControl dialog box. A video demonstrating how to set up multiple SOTI MobiControl instances in SOTI XSight is available below. Note: This section appears when Enable to support additional SOTI MobiControl Instances is selected. See Adding a SOTI MobiControl Instance.
SOTI XSight Management Server Login Configuration	Under Management Server you can enter the FQDN or domain to use for the login page. Under Login Mode you can choose between SOTI XSight Login and SOTI MobiControl Login to be used for the domain. Note: SOTI MobiControl Login is only available if Use SOTI Identity for User Authentication is switched on.
Automatically create an incident when remote-controlling a device from SOTI MobiControl	Select this option to have an incident created automatically when starting a device remote-control session in SOTI MobiControl.

Note: After making (and saving) changes, you must restart the SOTI XSight Management Server for the changes to take effect.
