Adding a Custom Attribute

You can create custom attributes for devices to track specific attributes.

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, click the main menu button and select Administration.
  2. In the left pane, select Custom Attribute.
  3. Click New Custom Attribute.
  4. Provide a Custom Attribute Name. This name appears in the list of Custom Attributes so you can identify them easily.
  5. Specify the Action name for the custom attribute. Choose a name that describes the attribute well because it becomes the label for an Action in the Device Details.
  6. Select the Custom Attribute Type.
  7. Click Save.

Results

The attribute you created becomes an Action in the Device Details:
