Device Information
- Rules that have been applied to the device
- Data that has been collected about the device
- Incidents that have been created for the device in SOTI Assist
- Notes that have been entered for the device
Select a commonly used device action from the bar at the top of the panel, or click the menu button to select a device action.
Device Details
The Device Details tab enables you to view basic information about the device, such as its device ID, device type, device status, device flag history, and the protocol adapter it is using.
Some device properties listed on the Device Details tab are shown in a generic measurement unit such as percentage. If you want you can have SOTI Connect display these properties in the units that are specific to the device by clicking the Device-specific Mode button to right of the Search field.
Rules
The Rules tab enables you to see a list of rules that have been created for the device.
To create a new rule for the device, click New Rule to open the Add Rule wizard.
To edit an existing rule in the list, click the rule name to open the Edit Rule wizard.
Collected Data
The Collected Data tab enables you to see a list of data items that have been collected for the device by means of a data collection rule.
To see the data collection rules that have been created for the device, open the Rules tab.
To export the list of data items to a comma-separated values (CSV) file, click Export to CSV. To export the list of data items to a PDF file, click Export to PDF.
SOTI Assist
The SOTI Assist tab enables you to see a list of incidents that have been created for the device in SOTI Assist.
To create a new incident for the device in SOTI Assist, click New Incident to open the Create SOTI Assist Ticket dialog box.
Notes
The Notes tab enables you to see the notes that have been added to the device. Existing notes can be edited or deleted.
To add a new note for the group, click New Note.
Logs
The Logs tab enables you to view the logs that have been recorded by SOTI Connect for the device selected. The tab contains all the filters available in the Logs pane on the Administration page.
