Creating a Rule

About this task

To create a new rule:

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, click the menu button and select Rules.
    The Rules view opens.
  2. In the Rules view, click New Rule.
    The Add Rule wizard opens.
  3. Follow the instructions provided in each panel of the Add Rule wizard.

Results

After you have completed the wizard, the new rule is listed in the right pane of the Rules view. If you need to make changes to it, you can click the rule in the list to open the Edit Rule wizard.
