Creating an Incident In SOTI MobiControl

About this task

In SOTI MobiControl, you can create an incident either from a device or during a web-based remote control session.

Procedure

  • To create an incident from a device:
    • Select the device in the devices list and click the Report Incident action button.
    • Open the Device Information panel for the device and click the Report Incident action button.
  • To create an incident during a web-based remote control session: and select Embed In a New Incident from the drop-down list.
    1. Click the Add to Incident button at the top right corner.
    2. In the Add Device to Incident dialog box that opens, select an option: Create New or Add to Existing Ticket.
    3. If you selected the Create New option, select a group for the new incident from the Select Group drop-down list.
    4. If you selected the Add to Existing Ticket option, search for the required ticket in the Search Incident field.
    5. Once the group for a new incident, or the ID of an existing incident, has been selected, click Add.
