Emailing a Packages List

Before you begin

Create email profiles before you start this procedure.

About this task

You can email a copy of the list of packages visible in the Packages view in .csv format.

Important: SOTI MobiControl generates the content of the .csv files based on the current layout of the Packages view. That means the .csv file won't include any data on packages from unselected families. Also, consider rearranging the order of the columns.

To email a .csv file of the Packages list:

Procedure

  1. In the Packages view, click the Export Package List button in the upper right corner and select Email CSV from the dropdown menu.
  2. Select an email profile from the Send From dropdown list.
  3. Enter the names of the recipients in the Send To field. Separate email addresses with semi-colons. Click CC or BCC to add and complete those fields as well.
  4. Compose a subject and body for the email.
  5. Click Send.

Results

A .csv file will be emailed to the specified recipients.
