Using Advanced Configurations
Advanced configurations are a set of device configurations that can perform various actions at the device and device group level. The capabilities of each advanced configuration are wide-ranging and cover scheduling check-ins, setting deployment server connections, restricting network access while roaming, and much more.
You can access the Advanced Configurations list from a device's Device Information panel or a device group's Group Information panel.
Note: Advanced configuration options differ between device types. When in the Group
Information panel, select the device family from the list to see the
advanced configurations available to that device family.

| Connection Settings | Decide the method and how often devices connect to the SOTI MobiControl deployment server. |
|
| Custom Data | Manage custom data items. |
|
| Deployment Server Priority | Set priority levels for SOTI MobiControl instances with many deployment servers. |

| Regenerate Personal Recovery Key | Device users can schedule a periodic regeneration of the personal recovery key. See Personal Recovery Key (PRK) Regeneration for more information. |

| Health Attestation Policy | Manage health attestation policies. |
|
| Personal Hotspot | Turn on to use a device as a personal hotspot. |

| Remote Control Settings | Configure settings for remote control. |

| Sharing Devices | Many users can share a device, each receiving personalized settings upon logging into the device. |

| Support Contact Info | Add contact information for your organization's IT support to the device agent. |
|
| Time Synchronization | Synchronize your devices' time with either the deployment server or an SNTP/NTP server. |
|
| Update Schedule | Configure the check-in schedule for devices. |
|
| Xtreme Hub | Configure Xtreme Hub settings for devices receiving files from the Xtreme Hub instead of the deployment server. |
