Creating Predefined Tags

About this task

Use this section to create tags as well as tag groups to organize them. The tags you create in this section are available to both administrators and non-administrators in the Tag field of the Incident Details view.

To define a new tag or tag group:

Procedure

  1. Log into SOTI XSight as an administrator.
  2. On the menu bar, click the menu button Menu button and select Settings. The Settings view opens.
  3. On the left side of the Settings view, click Tags.
  4. Select a group from the list or click Add button at the bottom of the Group column to add a new one.
  5. Type a new group name then click Update to save the group.
  6. To add tags, select a group then click Add button at the bottom of the Tags column.
  7. Type the name of the new tag then click Update to save it.
