Rule Types
SOTI Connect has various types of rules you can apply to devices, device
types, or device groups. Each rule type has a specific purpose.
Data Collection Rules
Use data collection rules to collect and store data from a device.
Action Rules
Use action rules to periodically perform one or more actions on devices.
Group Automation Rules
Group automation rules perform device actions based on state changes or groups of devices.
Individual Automation Rules
Individual automation rules perform device actions based on state changes or individual devices.
Enrollment Rules
Use enrollment rules to enroll a device in SOTI Connect and perform actions to set up the device.
