Updating a User

About this task

To update a SOTI Connect user:

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, click the main menu button and select Users and Permissions.
    The Users and Permissions view opens.
  2. In the left pane, select Users.
  3. In the right pane, click the selection button next to the user whose information you want to update.
    The user action bar appears.
  4. On the user action bar, click the Update button.
    The Update User dialog box opens.
  5. In the Update User dialog box, enter the updated user information.
    For information on the permission level associated with each user role, see Roles.
  6. Click OK to close the Update User dialog box.

Results

The user has now been updated in SOTI Connect.
