Modifying a Custom Attribute

About this task

You can create custom attributes for devices to track specific attributes.

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, click the main menu button and select Administration.
  2. In the left pane, select Custom Attribute.
  3. Next to the custom attribute you wish to modify, click Edit.
    Note: You will receive a warning if the custom attribute is in use by a device. The custom attribute must be removed from any device before editing.
  4. Modify the settings you wish to change.
  5. Click Save.
