SOTI Cloud Link Agent Versions

SOTI Cloud Link extends enterprise services to SOTI cloud services. Depending on your SOTI ONE application, you can install the SOTI Cloud Link Agent as either an inbound or an outbound connection.

Systems using an outbound SOTI Cloud Link Agent connection initiate all application requests from the agent. Systems using an inbound SOTI Cloud Link Agent connection pass SOTI ONE application requests to the respective enterprise service. This requires an open port (generally port 443) to communicate between the agent and your on-premises servers.

Note: We strongly encourage the use of outbound SOTI Cloud Link Agent where possible to ensure secure connections.

Installation and Compatibility

  • If you are using SOTI Identity 2.1 or earlier, use inbound SOTI Cloud Link Agent 2.0

  • If you are using SOTI Identity 2.2, use outbound SOTI Cloud Link Agent 4.1

    To install with SOTI Identity, follow the instructions here.

  • If you are using SOTI MobiControl 15.2 and 15.3, use outbound SOTI Cloud Link Agent 3.0.

    To install with SOTI MobiControl, follow the instructions here.

  • If you are using SOTI MobiControl 15.4, use outbound SOTI Cloud Link Agent 4.0 or 4.1.

    To install with SOTI MobiControl, follow the instructions here.

  • If you are using SOTI MobiControl 15.5, use outbound SOTI Cloud Link Agent 4.1.
    Note: Before upgrading, you must uninstall the older version of SOTI Cloud Link Agent. If SOTI Cloud Link Agent 4.1 is not set up with SOTI MobiControl 15.5, any operation or functionality related to LDAP and ADCS will not work.

Note: To upgrade to a later version of SOTI Cloud Link Agent, you must uninstall your current version of SOTI Cloud Link Agent and install the new version.
