Generating a Diagnostic Report

Before you begin

You must have Configure Deployment Server permission to generate a diagnostic report.

About this task

Generate a diagnostic report for the SOTI MobiControl. This file has application logs and system information, which are valuable for troubleshooting. View the following video demonstration of generating a diagnostic report.

Procedure

  1. Select your user profile to navigate to the top-right menu of the SOTI MobiControl console. Select Diagnostics.

  2. In the Diagnostics panel, select Diagnostic Report.

  3. Enter a password in the Password field. This is necessary to access the report.

  4. Select Generate to create the diagnostic report.

  5. Select Done when the diagnostic report generation is complete.

Results

The diagnostic report generates and downloads to C:\ProgramData\SOTI\DebugReport.zip.
Note: The generation of the diagnostic report may take several minutes.
