Kiosk Mode (ChromeOS) - Configuration Details

Configure kiosk settings on your devices when:

Allowed Application

Kiosk mode replaces the standard device home screen with an interface that enables users to only access applications and device features authorized by their administrator.

Home Screen Application

Display Name Enter the display name for the application.
Action Choose the kiosk mode action type. Available options are:
  • Website: Enter the website URL you want to display on your device when in kiosk mode.
  • ExtensionID: Select this option to choose between the Chrome Web Store and a Custom URL.
    Note: For the Chrome Web Store, enter an extension ID. This is a unique identifier assigned to each Chrome extension or application upon creation.
    Note: For the Custom URL, enter an extension ID and the Package URL.
Launch Automatically on Start-up Enable this option to launch an application automatically on start-up.
