Google Account

This profile configuration enables you to configure and deploy Google Accounts to your iOS devices. This is also used to integrate a Gmail account into the mail app of your iOS devices. You do this when:

Restriction: This configuration is only available to iOS 12+ devices.

Feature Details
Account Name Enter a user-visible description of the Google account. This is then later visible in the iOS device's Mail and Settings apps.
Username Enter the username for the Google account. SOTI MobiControl uses the username for sent messages. You can also select from the following:
  • Enrolled User Name
  • Enrolled User Principal Name
  • Enrolled User Domain
Email Address Enter the full Google email address associated with the account. You can also select from the following:
  • Enrolled User Email
Important: You still have to authenticate to the entered Gmail address on the iOS device.
VPN Optional: Select the VPN that your Google Account uses.

Default Audio Call App

Feature Details
Application Name Search and select an application name that handles all outgoing calls to contacts from this Google account.

This does not apply to incoming calls.

App Bundle Identifier The bundle ID for the application name.
