Deleting a Microsoft Exchange Server

Before you begin

Remove all references to the Microsoft Exchange Server from the SOTI MobiControl instance, including in compliance policies.

About this task

Once you delete a Microsoft Exchange server, SOTI MobiControl can no longer manage device access to email for the deleted Exchange Server.

To delete an Exchange Server:

Procedure

Open the Global Settings view from the main menu.
In the Servers List area, right-click on the email server you want to delete and then click Delete Exchange Server Connection.
In the delete confirmation box, click Yes.

Results

SOTI MobiControl can no longer manage device access to email in this Exchange Server. User access will reset to the default access specified by the Exchange Server which, in most cases, is set to block access by default.
