Deleting Custom Data

About this task

Note: Deleting a custom data item will affect any devices, device groups, and rules that use the item. If you simply want to remove a custom data monitoring field from a device or device group, see Removing Custom Data.

To delete a custom data item from SOTI MobiControl:

Procedure

  1. Click a device name to open its Device Information panel.
  2. Switch to the Configurations tab and scroll down to the Advanced Configurations table.
  3. Open Custom Data.
  4. Select a custom data item and move it to the Available Items list if it is in the Displayed Items list.
  5. Click Delete and then Yes in the deletion confirmation dialog box.
  6. Click OK to apply your custom data to your devices.
