Preparing Your System

You can integrate SOTI Cloud Link Agent into your environment in several different ways depending on the needs of your organization. To ensure a smooth installation and configuration process, ensure that your design to incorporate SOTI Cloud Link Agent complies with your company policy and standards.

In standard deployments, SOTI MobiControl applications communicate through SOTI Cloud Link Agent to your corporate network. However, SOTI Cloud Link Agent also supports more complex scenarios such as through a reverse proxy or load balancer.

Before configuring the SOTI Cloud Link Agent:

• Decide whether the SOTI Cloud Link Agent will communicate

  • Directly
  • Through a reverse proxy
  • Through a load balancer

• Prepare an on premises server to host the SOTI Cloud Link Agent that meets the minimum system requirements

• Assign a publicly accessible IP address that routes to the SOTI Cloud Link Agent

• Assign a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) to the IP address
